Committed to excellence in institutional support and staff augmentation, DPS draws on the parent company’s 15+ years of experience fielding domestic and overseas technical, operational, professional and managerial staff for various USG clients.

     

    Dexis Professional Services is seeking an experienced Desk Officer for an anticipated five-year project in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security at the United States Department of State (DOS). This will be a full-time position based in Washington, D.C. 

     

    This position is contingent upon award.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to learn unique applications (e.g. Cable Express,  DiplomaticSecurity Bureau Applications, and information guides);  
    • Ability to organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards, regarding order, clarity, conciseness, and terminology;
    • Ability to independently establish priorities, appointments or meetings, and coordinate with staff personnel;

    Qualifications

    • Two yeardegree, or equivalent combination of experience and education; 
    • Analytical skills and ability to develop written reports, timelines, and presentations depicting the status of regional programs;
    • Skill to manage multiple and sometimes unrelated projects, identify and analyze scheduling issues, develop alternative implementation options, and coordinate the recommendations and findings with DOS personnel;
    • Skills communicating requirements, ideas and recommendations and preparing reports and other documentation;
    • Skill in customer relations;
    • Experience interacting with senior level managers.
    • Extensive experience using IBM's Enterprise Asset Management system Maximo, and a solid working knowledge ofIT systems, databases and project management software utilized in the accomplishment of assignments (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint software), and SharePoint.
    • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
